As per tradition, this year we will have the PyDrinks and PyDinner (best known as PyFiorentina) again!
PyDrinks is a goliardic time in a reserved venue on the Arno river, just a few steps away from the PyCon Italia Venue, during which you can drink, chat and know other Pythonistas. The event will take place on Friday, May 26th from 8 pm CET at Rarità Bistrot.
You can book your entrance here, which includes one drink of your choice [see list below!] and a light veg fried cone (gluten and lactose-free) 🙌
The venue has reserved an area only for the PyCon Italia attendees; there will be a reserved bar and a wonderful terrace on the river. In the venue, you’ll be able to get more drinks and food of course and relax in a comfortable and safe environment.
PyDinner is the official PyCon Italia social dinner. It will take place Saturday, May 27th to give all our participants the opportunity to have a beautiful off time together and to taste the wonderful local cuisine!
We have arranged for a great few special menus (grilled meat, vegetarian and vegan) with a fixed price of €40 in the Taverna degli Assi restaurant. Moreover, there is a special menu with the famous florentine steak at a fixed price of €55.

Any extra item will be paid for directly at the restaurant.
Places are limited so reservation is mandatory. To book your seats in advance, go to our tickets page and select the PyDinner ticket. You will need this ticket in order to enter the restaurant as proof of payment.
This year we will try to host a beautiful barbecue in the open air, just a few steps under the wonderful landscape of Piazzale Michelangelo. The venue is called “Taverna degli Assi” and is just 15’ walk from the PyCon Italia Venue in Viale Michelangiolo, 66.
Yes, you have read it right! During PyDinner we will have a concert by the VocalBlueTrains!
